| Never been able to listen to him without getting angry! Glad I dont have to listen to him or see his mug on the TV.
Much preferred Hirsty, Danny, And JoJo on Capital Yorkshire (Hate commercial radio stations but they always made me laugh on my long commute into deepest, darkest Lincolnshire)

| Chris Moyles is an inspiration to me as a broadcaster. Insofar as if I ever end up sounding like him, playing the same music as him, trundling out a 'comedy' sidekick like he does etc etc, I will immediately remove myself from the air and never darken the doors of a radio studio again.

| John, that's like a division six amateur RL player saying he'll give up the sport if he ever finds himself scoring tries like Sam Tomkins!

| I must admit I was slightly horrified when I heard Chris Moyles was playing King Herod in the Jesus Christ Superstar arena tour.

| Does this mean Radio One might return to playing some music occassionally?

With the current state of the charts give me Moyles talking any day.

| Once upon a time the Moyles show was good. Some of the parodies were hilarious, particularly 'Stanta' and 'Afro Blair', both now around 10 years old.
In recent years the show turned into self-indulgent crap and shameless self-promotion.
Like Chris Evans, could take a break for a few years and come back far better for it.

| i enjoyed the show - if i want music, i plug my Iphone in - in the morning i want some light hearted, funny material to listen to on my drive to work and that did the job! the numbers of listeners that he got probably contributed to his ego, like it would with anybody attracting 10million listeners

| The single reason that Radio Two has been successful IMHO.
The only broadcaster worse than Steve Wright.

| I will miss Chris Moyles on monday morning, just like I have for the last 8 years.
Rubbish, as is Radio1 but then I'm probably not their target audience. I don't think Ive listened to it since Mark and Lard left.
Buy a DAB and get Radio 6 on.

| Only one station for me - Real Radio XS (or Rock Radio as it was before it went digital).
Very few "DJs" - comes across more like music enthusiasts who've somehow ended up in front of a microphone. It's not slick, it's not over-produced, it's not aimed at the masses - it's just people enjoying what they do, often making mistakes as they do it. They also hold some awesome events.
Gave up on Radio 1 before even Moyles came on board. Most of the rest churn out the same old chart, club, 'r&b', pop rubbish.
