Just read the report and it's terribly sad. It goes to show how an incident like that can have such far reaching consequences long after the case has left the headlines. The guy got up and went to work as he would have done any other morning: by the end of the day he'd lost his sight, months later his wife, and eventually his will to live. I hope those who assisted Moat are feeling utterly wretched right now.

Although unless they ask for help how is anyone supposed to know ?
Part of the nature of depression is denial, its hard enough to get a victim to go to their own GP for advice let alone ring up their employer (or former employer?) and ask if there is any free counselling they can have. |
