| As above. Brown shoes for the country, black for anything else.

| Deffo. black shoes.
With a light grey suit a plain white shirt and pink tie would go well for a wedding.

The colour doesn’t make much difference to me. I was wearing black shoes about a couple of weeks back and I still couldn’t see that they were sh[ii[/it on my shoe. I only realised when I walked into my mates flat on the fourth floor and he complained that I put sh[ii[/it on his carpet. I’m going to buy brown shoes next so I have a better excuse. I couldn’t see because of the disguise!
I have no sense of smell either..

| Dearie me, you're all so dull ... it all depends on what shade of grey the suit is .... but as it's a formal occasion, I guess it's not the time to experiment so I'll say nice, safe and boring black too.
But not those bloody awful "bank clerk" black brogues from Clarks.

| White loafers would look cool, especially if worn with pastel socks

I think the rule is that they can only be worn by Americans and people who mistakenly think they might be mistaken for rock stars.

Did you honestly come on here for style advice? You do know what most of these people who post on here look like don't you?

| I'd suggest not wearing a tie. Nice open necked shirt is both smart and casual. I can't remember the last time I wore a tie, to be honest.

| Call me old fashioned but I particulalry hate seeing anyone wear a suit without a tie. What is the frigging point in dressing up 95% of the way and then leaving out the final piece?
I reckon half of these fookers can't knot a tie properly anyway - by knot properly, I mean selecting the knot to match the structure of the tie and the collar of the shirt.
