What has the world come to when people are bombing kids at a music concert!!

It's beyond vile. We're still safe in general, though. I'm certainly not going to lying awake at night worrying about these depraved people. I don't want to give them the satisfaction

Shocking stuff and to target young kids and families is horrendous.
Some aspects of the modern world truly awful and IF this is in the name of any religion, it's just sick.

It's time that ALL religious groups accepted each other's right to pray, worship or, not bother and their leaders need to start getting THIS message across.

THere is no place for this stuff in the name of ANY God or to justify ANY cause.

I would argue that it's time for civilisation to leave *all* religion behind in the dark ages, where it belongs; it retards and denigrates us, and provides nutjobs, cranks and monsters of many stripes with a framework to commit whatever atrocity tickles their fancy.

Meanwhile, some kids went to a gig in Manchester last night - and won't go home; that's beyond horrific. Mine are due at the Courteeners/Charlatans gig there on Saturday - and as much as I want to say we should carry on and not let them win, I just can't.

people who hide behind religion to carry out these kinds of atrocities are S**M imo simple as that. It is not religion, it is simple brainwashed hatred and has no place in society, sadly we have allowed many of these non civilised backward thinking people to live amongst us in recent years and it is likely just the start.

All we can do is hope our government start getting serious about this and put something in place. sadly all i think we will get is the usual #prayformanchester, candle lit vigils etc... and carry on as usual.

Yep, just had a look on twitter, it's like groundhog day. #prayfor....., the celebrity outpourings led this time by James Corden, the usual suspects stirring up hate (Katie Hopkins has been reported to the police, AGAIN!), political figures condemning the actions and a million and one memes and messages of defiance. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can remember your password, maybe you can take to social media.

Yes - in the immediate aftermath of a terror attack, there is at least an opportunity for some overt racism, so every cloud and all that.

It's implicit or explicit from your post what you are talking about so why don't you come out & say it? I'm sure plenty of people would be interested in how we can stop these sorts of atrocities.

No thanks, i will keep the views to myself seeing as they mean nothing at all in the scheme of things and i'm not looking for, nor do i need a heated debate on the subject, particularly on here. I will put my trust in those that get paid very well to make these decisons as ATEOD there is very little else i can do sadly.

I'd get rid of all faith schools, and I'd get schools to actively teach atheism / agnosticism at least. Leave that religious guff to the mosques and Churches etc
