Quote: Maccbull_BigBullyBooaza "Given Putin has now shutdown all independent media, leaving journalists having to flee the country, has jailed the leader of the opposition for criticising him and is arresting people in their thousands for peaceful protest. It’s a fair bet that the state controlled Russia Today is propaganda.
Every reason he’s given to justify the invasion makes no sense. They’re already bordered by NATO countries and Ukraine haven’t even joined. They’re already bordered by EU countries. The supposed attacks on russain speakers in the Donbass region were so bad that people there have been on the streets blocking Russian conveys and telling their soldiers to go home.
There’s enough video evidence on social media of captured Russian soldiers who have no clue why they’re there as even they’ve been lied to.'"
The point I'm trying to make is if a large percentage of russians aren't aware that they're being fed propaganda, why would we be any more aware if the same was happening to us?
