I watched a documentary on Iplayer about Steve McQueen and the Le Mans film, his ego carried the production without a script for so long that when they eventually had a script to shoot they had to paint the leaves green because the season had changed. That is a big IF and if true why will they not release the minutes of the meetings which would show his positive contribution.

Now do you see why I singled out these two clubs ?

The immediate future doesn't look great for any spectator sport but, travel between different countries will take longer to sort out than any domestic travel, especially as far as spectators are concerned.

There will not be any spectators at sports events during 2020 - all sport will be played - if at all behind closed doors

The point still stands, unless of course, you know when all restrictions will be lifted.
Unless these 2 clubs relocate to the UK, the players and staff may also have difficulties travelling, without quarantine rules etc.

The one certainty is that people will be able to travel in their own country sooner than there will be "free" travel inter country.

There could also be issues for Toronto players, traveling in their "home" country of Canada, as none of them actually live there

I can see a BIG problem here.

Neither club brings very many supporters to games here - I don't see that as a problem.

I don't see how you can have a competition if one of the sides cannot play - it is unrealistic to expect players to be away from their families for months on end. If one player in a squad gets it does that mean the whole squad has to have 14 days off plus any teams they have played against?
