There are such a wide variety of ideas on training programmes, I wouldn't rely on an ap for that. Theories and opinions vary between suggesting full body workouts three times a week, to splitting five ways and training each area once a week. Then there's the whole subject of sets, reps and rests between sets.

The app I mentioned does show pictures of the movements, and has the option to download videos (I think). There are also several sample programmes, which aren't too bad. I'd agree that nothing matches getting some expert advice, however.
On that note, if the OP would like to PM me, I am a qualified (though not currently practising) personal trainer, and I'd be happy to answer any questions he might have with regard to programme structure and whatnot.
