That's ok, as a uniquorn would be an immitation meat mycoprotein mythological beast, as opposed to a real mythological beast, if you'll pardon the oxymoron.
So we are safe, unless Armando Iannucci was right when he asked, "If meat is murder, is quorn wasting police time?"

I sometimes have it made into chilli, when the strong flavours are able to mask the rancid natural taste, which is something akin to wet cardboard.

| Quote Ferocious Aardvark="Ferocious Aardvark"From Channel 4, a glaring example of the retards that now "run" the country:
So, although nobody yet even has a clue how the horsemeat got in the mix, let alone what source the dead horses were from or what state the carcasses were in or how they had been stored or transported or processed, a label would have made them "fit for human consumption".
You really couldn't make it up.'"
Surely if it was labelled as containing Horse meat, this would mean they knew it contained horse meat, so we could assume they would know what source the dead horses were from, what state the carcasses were in, how they had been stored, transported and processed, unless they are suggesting "stick a label on them now" and this will "make" them ok.

Exactly ... the problem is not the labelling but the control and monitoring of the supply chain.

[url=http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/foodanddrinknews/9807537/Europe-supplied-horse-meat-in-burgers.htmlTesco, which sold a beefburger containing " 29 per cent horse "meat""[/url ,blamed the suppliers, saying they were either guilty of illegality or gross negligence.
Almost a 1/3rd horse meat, so not exactly just DNA traces. Traces of Cow DNA is usually what you get in economy beef burgers.

They're also introducing DNA tests on meat products.
[iThe statement concluded: "These checks will set a new standard. It will be a significant investment for Tesco, borne by Tesco.[/i - Yeah right. So Tesco will be paying for these tests from their own pockets or shareholder dividends?
Now I'm certainly no expert on genetics but I assumed that a DNA tests needed to be tailored to identify a specific animal/species and also how long are these tests going to take? The meat will probably be off before they're completed

It's bad anyway, but if the story from the [iGuardian[/i the other week is true, that it's actually 'drind' – dehydrated rind, which can be listed as 'seasoning' on a packet, so you've no chance of expecting that one – then it's far worse. Because for that to happen you're not talking about an accident.
