While its always good seeing the best tv programme ever back two things spring to mind

1. It should actually be Red Dwarf 9, 'back to earth' was an abomination that doesn't count
2. It's a bit of a let down that they didn't carry on where they left off at the end of series 8 (although maybe they'll explain all later in the series about how they got out of prison)

If the rest of the series is as good as the first episode, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Some of the jokes were great, though it does need more Kochanski.

Anybody watch [iParks And Recreation[/i? I'm not sure how the rest of the season is going to pan out with trying to run the Washington/Pawnee thing but the opening three shows have been excellent. A real step up on the satire side. Very promising so far.

Also, thought season 3 of [iLouie[/i may be the best yet. It wasn't quite a funny as season 2 but it had some wonderfully observed human moments in the first half of the season before it lifted with the second half of the season. Still the best US comedy around. Good to see [i30 Rock[/i back as well. Good opener for that too.

Is Nigella Lawson on drugs?

If she isn't, she needs to be.
