After doing a recording in the planner it says "part recorded" and when you try and watch it it freezes for a few seconds and you get the message "Recording interrupted by loss of signal". I have been on various sky forums and this is fault 7 and no one seems to get any joy from sky over this problem. Resets and new boxes don't resolve the problem. I can't be a###d to spend hours on the phone with them so if anyone has had this issue can you let us know how you got on.'"
Ring them up and tell them you're leaving for Virgin. they'll soon fix it

Living in Hull, Virgin ain't an option.  ,Just like our land line Broadband we're stuck with Karoo,(no BT or Virgin to choose from) although there seems to be some wireless providers moving in but not sure how reliable they are.

Could it be your satellite dish? We had a problem a while ago where we had issues with recording and signal and it turned out the dish lost line of sight every now again because a tree had grown and when the wind blew the branches and leaves blocked the line of sight.

Have you checked to see if your house has fallen down again?

No trees to worry about, signal strong, records non HD channels ok, problem seems to have arose after the planner update.

| Can I just ask you techies a question about something re Leigh Centurions?
I want to try and set up a Man of The Match Vote, on the big screen at LSV. Is there a cheap way of doing this without subscription to an online site?
I was either thinking of running it free, or maybe something like 10p per text to raise a few quid for the club. Is there a simple way of doing this, so we can have on the screen 'to vote for your man of the match text MOM and a players name to 123456'
Then we can post the result up after 75 minutes and maybe if the idea takes of we can find a decent sponsor for it.

| iTunes question. I have a playlist, I want the playlist to start playing about 5/6 mins after I leave the room. I don't have any way of physically going over and clicking play, so is there a way to set some sort of timer on a playlist? Or is there a way to set a playlist to play between certain times?
