| It has a password on it, so i couldn't access the contacts. I called 3 and gave them the imei number and they put me through to the owners landline. All worked out pretty well in the end. Hopefully they'll buy me few beers for being a good person.

Surprised at that, they probably can't legally do that. But who cares eh, if your good deed for the day is done.

| They just came to pick it up. Gave me a bottle of scotch to say thanks and a couple of bags of dog treats for my boy for sniffing it out. Good deed done, like you say mate. I lost my wallet a few months back and someone handed it in, so I suppose it was my turn to repay the good deed to someone else.

| Virgin are offering me a Samsung Galaxy Ace, with 500mb interweb.
Is this a half decent phone, and how much browsing does 500mb allow me?

| More than enough if it's just casual. Emails, Facebook, bit of web etc. Depends on your view of decent. It's an entry level Android probably. Does pretty much everything you need and more, but not as well as the top end stuff

You should have gone on Mazuma - made £300 and then that would buy lots of Scotch, Dog treats, and a new wallet to erase the bad memories of momentarily losing yours

| I'm sure this must have been asked before, but does anyone have any recommendations for a good RL news/scores related app for current Android versions?
It'd be nice if it included Championship level RL too!

| Ok so my contract with o2 will be up around June, and after 6 years of paying a around £35 quid a month and never being offered anything for loyalty to them I've finally decided to just not renew, stick with my iphone or maybe buy a new one out right and just go sim only.
The 2 networks which have caught my eye are Giff Gaff and Three, for around 10-15 quid I can get more minutes than I'll ever use, unlimited texts on gg/3000 on three which is more than enough, and unlimited data. (although on Giff Gaff its apparently not truly unlimited, but no one seems to know what they consider a fair amount of usage....)
What are peoples experiences with either of these? I understand Giff Gaff is a more community orientated sort of network and I shouldn't expect much in the way of customer service, but so long as the network coverage is good and my phone works that doesn't really bother me too much.

| Three are utterly fabulous. The best network in the country by a distance.

The more I think about it, the more I lean towards them. Had enough of 02 now. For the simple reason that they are a rip off.

There's a Love Rugby League app that I've just downloaded and that has all three divisions plus the NRL.

Just got the new Samsung Galaxy Note. It isn't actually as bulky and horrible as it looks. Superb for web browsing and watching videos on and quite simple to use really.
