| well im not really sure yet what to make my budget. at first i was thinking some where like 50-60 pound as i only want this phone really untill i can upgrade when my contract is up for renewal in august but looking at that link you gave me, it seems quite a decent phone for £100. Do you have any experience with it? ideally i would rather spend abit less but i need something quick and just want to have decent internet browsing with it but do you think this is probably the best i will find for the price?

| You can get a Samsung Galaxy Apollo for about 80 quid. I had one as a stop gap before I got my S2, and I'd recommend it for an entry level smartphone.

| I'll be honest with you. I've never used an Android phone! I just know they have a wide range and Samsung are pretty well known. I've kept touch screen in mind as you want to use Facebook etc
So I'd go with Rock Gods suggestion too. As that sounds like the kind of thing you'll be doing as a stop gap

It's the best hardware available and the best operating system too. Whether it's worth the money is up to you.

| iv had a look for the samsung appollo but prices are roughly the same as the samsung galay mini which i think i prefer for the same price but looking on asda iv come accross the t-mobile android rapport smart phone which is £49 and wondering has anyone any experience with this as a stop gap phone? the price is deffinately better for me but if its complete rubbish and just gonna annoy me id rather pay the extra 50 and get the mini but just want to know if anyone has any experience of one? thanks.

Personally I'd pay the extra for the Samsung.
