iv managed to lose my phone again for the 3rd time this year! no insurance and my contract is only up for renewal in august 2012! just wondering does anyone know any cheap phones that have good internet? my main purpose is texting, ringing and just looking at facebook or a few internet forums so decent internet is a must really! dont want to spent alot though as i will be gettin a new contract next august and also more than likely with my track record lose it again!! thanks

iphone 3GS? Plenty of lower end Android phones will see you right for internet and facebook too.

well im not really sure yet what to make my budget. at first i was thinking some where like 50-60 pound as i only want this phone really untill i can upgrade when my contract is up for renewal in august but looking at that link you gave me, it seems quite a decent phone for £100. Do you have any experience with it? ideally i would rather spend abit less but i need something quick and just want to have decent internet browsing with it but do you think this is probably the best i will find for the price?

You can get a Samsung Galaxy Apollo for about 80 quid. I had one as a stop gap before I got my S2, and I'd recommend it for an entry level smartphone.

I'll be honest with you. I've never used an Android phone! I just know they have a wide range and Samsung are pretty well known. I've kept touch screen in mind as you want to use Facebook etc

So I'd go with Rock Gods suggestion too. As that sounds like the kind of thing you'll be doing as a stop gap

any thoughts on the Nexus? is it worth shelling out for? contracts seem pretty high, but i'm due an upgrade this month

It's the best hardware available and the best operating system too. Whether it's worth the money is up to you.
