| Quote Saddened!="Saddened!"The first one was one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. I was absolutely gutted when it finished because I had enjoyed it so much. The Joker in it was just the best video game character I can recall and the opening sequence when you are wheeling him into the asylum is just utterly brilliant.
I fully expect the second game to be sensational.'"
Completely agree with this. Asylum is one of the only games I've ever bothered to finish off every achievement in the main game due to not wanting the game to end. The characters were fantastic.
Can't wait to play Arkham City. Although it'll probably be next year when I get chance as I'm only about 10% of the way through Dragon Age at the moment.

| Quote KiAiSiAiSuId="KiAiSiAiSuId"Has everyone jumped on the Fifa bandwagon now????? I played Fifa 11 and hated it, Fifa 12 demo I also couldn't get to grips with, its just no fun anymore.
Heard mixed reviews on PES this year also although a few of them do say the fun has been put back into it and it plays like the like the PS2 days?'"
I've given the Pro Evo demo a good play. It's certainly better than previous generations, but it's still a distance behind. With one being a Japanese developer and the other being Canadian I just get the feeling neither team really knows what football is about.
Fifa have gone for realism at the expense of instant appeal, making it a much more satisfying game, but one that will enfuriate you in equal measures. Pro Evo seems confused as to whether it's an arcade game.

When I were a kid the football arcade games were 'fun' I think Pro Evo is trying to find that balance of fun / realism without making it so dull that it plays like a real life premiership match.
Pro Evo was at its best when it had a pick up and play quality, going to my mates playing it and instantly being able to pick the game up, attack, defend, score spectacular goals, score scrappy goals and give him a good match made it a great game. Granted I still lost as it was his game and he messed with tricks and tactics that you HAD to learn to be good at it but still I could play.
If I went to my 9 year old nephews now to play Fifa12 I'd be embarrassed. Tactical defending and holding down 3 shoulder buttons in an attempt to get the ball back seems daft, also I played the demo and lost the ball couldn't get it back for about 10 mins?!?!?! It appears the emphasis on defending and simulation rather than attacking and fluid fun football has ruined Fifa for me.
I am not saying that Pro Evo is back to the good old days and from playing the demo I probably will end up with no football game at all this year as neither do enough to warrant my £40 it's just interesting how 2 different developers and teams can vary 2 games of the same sport so much.
Maybe back to basics do make a better game, maybe it's me getting on a bit but when Adriano was a scoring machine and the PS2 game made me want to call in sick at work I enjoyed football games. Each to their own I guess

| I am mixed on Pro Evo. The first demo I played I was very impressed with, everything was under my control, the variety and realism in the play appealed, whilst it gave enough of a challenge to satisfy me when I won. It wasn't an infuriating challenge, when the opposition got the ball, they took me on, they ran at me with the ball, they tried killer balls and they played possession on occasions, but it was fair and you could cope with it.
However, since then, I downloaded the PES demo 2, which seemed really different for some reason. Maybe I needed to fiddle about with more settings (I turned about 5 assisted things off), but it seemed like I wasn't in control of much and the things I enjoyed seemed to be missing. Even though I turned them off, things like teammate assistance really annoyed me, I hated seeing me teammates clear the ball down field when I had an open man, I hated it when my CPU teammates would automatically head the ball when I wanted to wait for the volley, it was annoying and, even though I turned it off, it really put me off.
I'll give it another go in a few days to see if it was just me hallucinating.

| I see PSN has been hacked again with 90,000 worldwide and 25,000 in Europe having their account information stolen.
Someone has to have a rethink of how online usernames and passwords are held.
In this day and age surely it's possible to develop a secure system?

With having xbox live this was something that worried me the last time it happened. Yet when i tried to remove my bank details i couldnt! xbox wont let you have no card details on there unless you have a paypal account, which is just as easily hackable!

It will. You can ring them and have your card details removed. You can pay for your live subscription via the cards you buy in shops.
Ring them up, tell them you want auto-renewal turned off because you are concerned about having your card details stored. Then buy a subscription card rather than using your credit card. Same goes with buying stuff, you can buy MS points cards.

Like any other game, you get better with Fifa as you play. I struggled somewhat when defending at first, but after 60+ games online so far, I find it pretty simple. The only shoulder button I use is RT. I don't bother with using RB, don't see the point. I'm still finding though that even in Division 6, hardly anyone can defend properly. Very occasionally, I will find someone who does, who holds off attackers and jockeys then properly instead of diving in with the tackle button and wondering why they keep getting skinned. I enjoy playing as Ivory Coast against these sort of players - give it to Drogba, and literally walk around defenders flying around all over the place. I'd have no chance with this tactic against someone who knows how to use the jockey button correctly though.

| I use RB and LB all the time. Placed shots when you're 1v1 are a lot easier and LB to do long (or short) through balls comes off pretty often.
Not even played online yet, might give it a bash tonight and challenge Saddened.
