| I've had a thought.
Can we try it for size?
In other words, can we have a training session at South leeds this coming Monday, try the facilities, finish a little early then have our AGM straight after?
You'll get more attendees for a training session than you would for an AGM and we can see the facilities we're being offered in action as it were.
Scott, is this a go-er?
I know personally, what with me being such an athlete, I would prefer to train.

| Sounds like a possible plan. I am on call though so may have to run off the pitch to answer the phone! Am happy either way.

| G1, I'll see what I can do.
For those who don't know where they are going or weren't listening to Harry on Monday night. you need to be using the car park on your right as you approach the stadium up Middleton grove. if you park in front of the stadium for more than 3 hours or not in a marked bay you will get a parking ticket.
Directions
FROM THE SOUTH AND EAST
From the South, follow the M1 northwards to Junction 42, (Lofthouse Interchange) and turn left on to the M62. Travel to the next junction - Junction 28. From the East, follow the M62 westwards to Junction 28. At Junction 28 come off the motorway, and take the fifth exit on to the A653, signposted Leeds. Go straight ahead at two roundabouts; after the second take the right fork (still the A653). Turn right at the fourth set of traffic lights into Middleton Grove. The Stadium is at the top of the hill on the left.
FROM THE WEST
Follow the M62 eastwards to Junction 28, turn left on to the A653 and then follow the instructions above.
FROM THE NORTH-EAST (NEW ROUTE FOR 2009)
Follow the A1 southwards until it joins the M1 at Hook Moor; continue straight along the M1 to Junction 45 (Templenewsam). Turn right, and follow the new Link Road (A63);go straight ahead at three roundabouts and two sets of traffic-lights. After the second move into the left-hand lane, signposted A61 South and turn left at the next lights. Move out into the second lane (signed M'Way South) and cross the flyover. At the traffic-lights at the other end move to the left, and take the second left (signposted A653 Dewsbury) under a prominent footbridge; follow this to the next roundabout, and take the fourth exit into Tunstall Road. At the T-junction (second traffic lights) turn left into the A653 (Dewsbury Road; turn left at the second traffic lights into Middleton Grove.
FROM THE NORTH-WEST
Join the Leeds Outer Ring Road (A6120) and follow it southwards and eastwards (signposted Wakefield/Dewsbury - follow signs for Elland Road football ground). Go under M621, and carry straight on at next traffic lights and roundabout. At the second roundabout (White Rose Centre) take the left fork and go straight ahead to join the A653 (Dewsbury Road). Turn right at the fourth set of traffic lights into Middleton Grove. The Stadium is at the top of the hill on the left.

| I think we were going to give the training a miss. When we looked at how long we'd have it'd be very tight to fit in a session along with everything else. Plus we'd run the risk of folk turning up without their kit expecting the AGM only.

| Hi all, sorry to drag over this again but the more I think about accepting the Hunslet offer yet staying at Morley the less it makes sense to me. Its essentially renting a house and inheriting the next door mansion, would you continue to rent and leave next door dormant? No, you'd move so why arent we?
If we accept the offer and stay at Morley what benefit do we get? We still need to pay subscriptions to cover the rent and it seems we manage to make a small profit from our current setup of £2 a week so we dont really need the extra funding. We are giving up the name and heritage etc for very little if we stay at Morley. The coaching sessions available would be the only positive to me.
By going to Hunslet the facilities are better, its free and we maybe able to attract some of the lasses from the girls teams that have recently signed up with Hunslet.
As I say sorry to drag it up again, I'm just not seeing the benefits to staying at Morley when theres a better and free alternative.

| Apologies for having to leave early last night. Would it be possible to get a summary of the decisions made from last nights AGM ?

| Kirk, I think the main reason for staying at Morley was because it being the more convenient location for most. Have to admit getting home was quite a pain last night, going through city centre and many traffic lights.
One point we didn't really touch on was the distance to the pitch at Hunslet, considering where we would have to park. Currently, we struggle to start training at 7.15 let alone 7pm.

| Kirk, I think we're committed for the rental up at Morley until August/September the decision we took was to continue until then with a visit a month down at Hunslet for some coaching (if we want), when the time comes for renewal of the lease then we need to make another decision after sampling what the stadium has to offer (including the hike to the pitch) and what price we can negotiate with Morley.
I know what your saying but the stadium isn't ideal for all and i think what we pretty much had a unanimous decision on was to see how it goes and make a decision later this year on the location once the rental agreement with Morley ends.
