I will make my own way up too. It was the 5 star Sheraton last year, this year it looks like an airbed in my mate's living room !! How the mighty have fallen !

I misled you last night Gents, the cost for B&B at Edinburgh is more than I remembered. I was confusing it with a different University (in London, which is not quite as convenient!).

The cost for the weekend will be £60 each which includes University room (en-suite and breakfast), minibus there and back and the ticket for Sat & Sun for playing in the tag tournament. Our driver has very kindly offered to set off at a ridiculously early hour on Saturday and we will be coming back on Sunday. Those wishing to stay for the Sunday night as well would have to make their own way home.

Me and Dan will love to play in the tournament (assuming it finishes in time to watch the Leeds match) we are staying on a caravan site in Edinburgh so no accomodation required for us.

Last year the tournament was before the games started on the first day. I expect they'll do that again.

BAD NEWS!!!!

The University have (finally) got back to me and have confirmed that they are full!!

I shall check other options but it is unlikely that we will all get in the same hotel for anything like those prices.

Any suggestions people?

There are rooms available at the Airport Hilton for £55 each (sharing a twin). These do not include breakfast which is available extra.
